installation of audiovisual artworks in museums and galleries, both at home and abroad.

Do you enjoy working at the intersection of technology and art?

We are looking for freelancers with whom we can build a long-term working relationship. People who can support us on a regular or project basis with the installation of audiovisual artworks in museums and galleries, both at home and abroad.

What does the work involve?
You will help to install audiovisual art installations.
Sometimes a single work, sometimes an entire exhibition.

Examples of tasks

  • Installing video projections (with or without audio).
  • Developing interactive video installations.
  • Installing and connecting video screens or CRT screens.
  • Cabling and mounting installations according to museum standards.
  • Setting up synchronisation of multiple video channels.
  • Working with media players and media servers.

Who are you?

  • Technically and practically minded.
  • An affinity with art.
  • Accurate, responsible and independent.
  • Flexible availability is a plus (construction days are sometimes scheduled at short notice).
  • Willing to work at locations in Belgium, the Netherlands, Europe. Sometimes also outside the EU.

Other profiles we are looking for
We are also looking for skilled technicians or carpenters to prepare or build installation components. Such as custom-made mounting systems for projectors or kiosks for touchscreens. This work is usually done in our studio in Antwerp/Deurne, but sometimes also on location.

We are also looking for people to transport and dismantle exhibitions.

A company car is provided. Locations may be in Belgium, Germany, France, Luxembourg or the Netherlands. You have a basic knowledge of video equipment and work neatly and carefully when dismantling and managing the equipment.
